Mein Fenster ist stets in Bewegung. Die Reisegeschwindigkeit lässt die Bäume, Felder und Häuser leicht unscharf erscheinen.
Diese leichte Unschärfe und geografische Unbestimmtheit der Landschaften sind charakteristisch für meine Arbeiten. Diese so entstandenen Bilder evozieren andere Erinnerungen; es geht dabei um das Fremde im eigenen und das Eigene im fremden.
Die Bilder können auch als Standbilder, standstills der reinen Flüchtigkeit gesehen werden. Bilder als Haltepunkte im Leben.
